"It's the opportunity of a lifetime, wouldn't you say?"

My all-time favorite television moment:

Northern Exposures; Season 3, Episode 8: "A Hunting We Will Go"; the conclusion.

On hearing Ruth-Ann is turning 75, young Ed, feeling concern for her mortality, wants to give her a meaningful gift that will last forever. Ruth-Ann seizes the opportunity of a lifetime.

Enjoy.

Seize the opportunity...

I LOVE this!!! Forgot all about this episode but it is priceless! My family has instructions to spread my ashes at a beautiful place where I have laughed, played, and, of course, danced. I intend to smile in the great beyond. Thanks for the giggle in the here and now.

Viejo!
What a great one-two combination: Zorba and Northern Exposure. Nice move. It's all about the dance.
